How to Add Your AI DNA to Gemini

Gemini setup

Introduce yourself to Gemini, once

Your AI DNA file does the explaining for you — once. It becomes a Gem: your own saved assistant. Two screens, five numbers.

Open gemini.google.com

Type it into any browser.

Sign in with Google

Your Gmail account. Free.

Click Explore Gems

Then New Gem.

Add the line, then your file

Paste the instruction, then upload the .md under Knowledge.

You'll know it worked

Your Gem appears in the sidebar by name, and answers using your own words and goals.

The preview panel doesn't save anything — only the Save button does.

Later, tell your Gem what changed, ask for an updated file, and replace the old file in Knowledge.
